RE: Paul-Michael Dekker, Byte Butler

If you have need of hardware or software expertise, I want to recommend Paul-Michael Dekker. Over the past several years, he has earned the title, "Computer Wizard."

GENI is a non-profit research and education organization, with a global outreach. We started our computing on a small IBM laptop. Our systems now include IBM PC's and a MAC Centris 650. Mr. Dekker has been involved in all the software installation and directory maintenance.

Paul-Michael organized a regular back-up system for all computers. And when we did have a hard drive "crash", he doctored our system back to good health. This is such a critical component for any company, I can't sing enough praise for Paul-Michael's expertise.

He helped us develop the GENI Web Site and coordinate with our internet/e-mail service when glitches in the system would come up. Paul-Michael has a innate ability to dive into manuals and work with support personal to solve highly technical issues.

As a comprehensive thinker, he has worked closely with the Society for Computer Simulation on a Computer Model we are currently developing. Paul-Michael tackled the initial phases of a very complex global analysis with enthusiasm and skill. Detailed specifications and preliminary modeling have already been done.

Paul-Michael brings a broad background of experience in the computer field, and a willingness to jump in and solve problems quickly when they occur. Every business has the need of a computer wizard from time to time, and I can highly recommend Paul-Michael Dekker/Byte Butler to you.

Sincerely,

Peter Meisen
